実は、制作を進めていた『Dear My Friend — Will You See Me?』よりも先に、どうしても今、形にしてお届けしたい新曲ができあがりました。
タイトルは『Dragon's Shield - The Prayer of Mercy -』
純粋な愛や、誰かや何かを守りたいという強い思いから、つい怒りを感じたり、正しさの剣をギュッと握りしめてしまう夜って、誰にでもあるじゃないですか。
でも、本当の「無敵」って、外の敵を力で倒すことじゃなくて、誰も敵にしない「心の広さ」を持つことだと思うんです🤔 勝ち負けや正しさの競争というステージから降りた時。戦う剣をそっと置いた時に手に入る「赦す強さ」こそが、誰かを守る最大の盾（Shield）になる。 そんな祈りのような思いを、Gothic Hymn Metalの重厚なビートに乗せました🤘
「わたしは、あなたがたに平安を残します。わたしは、あなたがたにわたしの平安を与えます」（ヨハネの福音書 14:27）
握りしめていた拳を開いた時にだけ、受け取れる平安ってあるんですよね。
実は、元々構想があった曲をリメイクしてみたらびっくりするくらいぴったりハマって、メロディもすぐに完成しちゃって😳
そしてこの曲、娘さんを護りながら大和市のエディブルタウン化に情熱を注いでいる、 大貫竜司 さんの主題歌としても作りました🤗 アスファルトの隙間に命の種を蒔いていくような彼の活動と、この曲の「愛し、育てる強さ」がすごくリンクしたんですよね。

今、何かと戦って心が疲れている人の元へ。 そして、大貫さんの蒔く種が豊かな緑となりますように、この祈りの歌が届くとうれしいです🙏

Actually, before releasing our planned track "Dear My Friend — Will You See Me?", a new song came to life that I felt I absolutely had to share with you all right now.
The title is "Dragon's Shield - The Prayer of Mercy -"
We all have those nights where, out of pure love and a strong desire to protect someone or something, we end up feeling anger or gripping the sword of "righteousness" too tightly.
But I believe true "invincibility" isn't about defeating external enemies with power, but having a heart wide enough to not make enemies in the first place 🤔 Stepping down from the stage of winning and losing, or competing for righteousness. The "strength to forgive" that we gain when we gently put down our fighting swords becomes the greatest shield to protect someone. I poured those prayer-like thoughts into the heavy beats of Gothic Hymn Metal 🤘
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you." (John 14:27)
There is a certain peace we can only receive when we finally open our tightly clenched fists.
Actually, I tried remaking a song I had originally conceptualized, and it fit surprisingly perfectly! The melody came together in no time 😳 And so, I also made this song as a theme song for Ryuji Onuki, who is passionately working on turning Yamato City into an Edible Town while protecting his daughter 🤗 His real-life activities, like gently planting seeds of life in the cracks of the asphalt, perfectly linked with the song's message of "the strength to love and nurture."

I hope this song reaches the hearts of anyone out there who is fighting something and feeling tired. And I pray that the seeds Ryuji plants will grow into abundant greenery. I would be so happy if this prayerful song reaches you 🙏
